Meet Your Photographer

About Me – Paul Haynes Photographer Nottingham

family photo shootMy interest in photography started when I won the beginners competition at my local camera club many moons ago! I then returned to college for three years to study photography and loved every minute of it. I also gained much practical experience when I freelanced as an assistant to many commercial photographers in London for two years. It was then that I felt I had a solid foundation which would enable me to pursue a full time career as a photographer Ilkeston.

Since then, I have travelled the world for the last 15 years taking thousands of photographs of people from many different nationalities, cultures and backgrounds.

Paul-haynes-photographer-shootDuring my travels, I met a beautiful South African girl called Bronwyn who happened to be a fellow photographer. Since getting married, we decided to take the plunge and finally plant some roots. She has since built a very successful wedding photography business (which we both love to photograph) and I set up Memories Portrait Photographers. After transforming an old textile mill into a stunning studio, we felt this was the perfect place where she could meet her clients and I could create wonderful portraits of people.

I’m happy capturing the beautiful smiles of couples, kids or families, or creating promotional images for performers and entertainers of all types. My skills are widely varied and I enjoy shooting on location or getting creative in the studio with different lighting set ups.

photographer nottinghamI love to chat and meet interesting people and have a very easy going personality.
